Since 1990, Dennis Martire has worked with the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA). Born in 1964, Martire has an education from West Virginia Wesleyan College where he graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree focused on government. Only four years later would Martire begin his lifelong career with LIUNA.
He began as an international representative for the LIUNA jurisdictional disputes department then quickly rose through the ranks. He became assistant director then director of the construction department. And by 2000, he was assistant regional manager of the mid-Atlantic region, rising again two years later as the division’s regional manager and elected vice president. Dennis Martire’s LIUNA career has spanned thirty years of successes and growth within the organization.
